Our Easter Egg Hunt is happening Sunday at Lang Carson Park with golden eggs and surprise prizes for the kids! This weekend also has the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival where The Head and The Heart are playing for free, plus there’s a Taco & Tequila Bar Crawl on the Beltline Saturday if you want to eat your way down the Eastside Trail. Three new restaurants just opened this week—Rosso on Monroe Drive (Italian from the Bar Pilar people), Mushi Ni in Inman Park (Asian comfort food with Thai tea martinis), and Casi Cielo on the Beltline. Busy Bee Café is opening at Atlantic Station this spring and yes, they’re bringing the famous fried chicken.
That huge Forge Atlanta project downtown just closed—it’s going to be 8.4 million square feet, which is six times bigger than the Bank of America Plaza. Uber just invested $1.25 billion in Rivian to build robotaxis in Georgia, which means thousands of new jobs are coming. USMNT plays Belgium Sunday and Atlanta United plays Chicago Fire, so it’s a big soccer weekend.
